With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melody Gwan Lang of Guntersville, Alabama, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Melody Gwan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Lang; and her brother Ernest Lee Lang. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Mayers, Cheryl Sanders and Jason Garner (Leslie); and her father Ernest Lang. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home & Crematory (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810).
