He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his sons, Niko Kopanas, George Kopanas and Chris Kopanas (Melissa); his granddaughter Maria; his son Nick Addario; his sisters, Metaxia Giannopulos (Kosta) and Angeliki Brucato (Larry); his niece Nasia Danis (Tony); and his great-niece Konatantina Danis.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
