With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Dodd of Guntersville, Alabama, who passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood Dodd, Jr. and Mary Harriett Martin Dodd. He is survived by: his wife Mary Owens Dodd; his daughters, Deidra Dodd Martin (Keith) and Donna Dodd Flack (Chris); his stepchildren, Susie Eads (Bobby) and Paul Owen, III (Della); and his grandchildren, Kevin Cooley, Jacob Parton (Jessica), Olivia Parton, Zachary Martin, Colby Flack (Jennifer), Caleb Martin, Nathan Eads, Kelsey Weathers (Austin), Brandi Neely (Chris) and Tristin Owens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
