He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Brown and Sheila Brown; his former wife Nell Sims; and his brothers, Charles and David Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Phylis; his children, Dewayne Brown (Amanda) and Deanna Brown Langford (Scott); his stepson Barry Bonds (Bonnie); and his grandchildren, Emily Brown Frazier (Bubba), Mallory Kist (John Hollis), Colin, McCormack and Sophie Langford.
