With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Childress of Guntersville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Preston "Doc"; her siblings, Becky Childress Masters and Raylon; and her sister-in-law Doris Childress. She is survived by: her husband Mike Rains; her children, Kim Cornelius (Phillip) and Don Abbott (Kathy Redmon); her stepdaughter Jessica Rains; and her grandchildren, Hunter Cornelius (Sara Beth), Chase Cornelius (Lauren Barnes), Kane Cornelius, Kyndell Tucker (Brady), Kaden Abbott (Maci) and Katie Ann Abbott. She is also survived by 3 Great Grandchildren.
