She was predeceased by: her parents, James David Lamar Houck and Susan Frances Goodman Houck; her spouse Corneil Edward Torbert; and her siblings, James Herman Houck and Laura Frances Houck.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Torbert Wood; and her grandsons, Edward James Wood (Beth), Brian Jason Wood and Michael Bradley Wood.
