She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry Murphy and Cora Madeline Murphy; her brother Dickie Murphy; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Hayes and George Jones (Shirley).
She is survived by: her husband Joseph P. Jones, Jr.; her children, Dedie Jones Campbell (Bill) and Joseph P. Jones, III; her siblings, Shirley Hill, Betty Baden (Franklin), Regina Guy, Marie Croft, Donna Hewitt (Freddie) and George Henry Murphy Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Agnes Jones, Alfred Jones, Sherman Jones (Eileen) and Harry Jones (Barbara). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has request donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Union Grove #1 Missionary Baptist Church of Albertville.
