He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Cowen and Beulah Cowen; and his wives, Dorthy Ann and Dorothy Ann Wilkins. He is survived by: his children, Charles (Denise) and Deborah (Matt); his grandchildren, Charlsie Kirk (Justin), McKenzie Taylor and Evan Taylor; his great grandchild Waylon Kirk; his grandmother Cain (Bill); his nieces, Nikki Mitchell (Todd) and Wendy Walker (Allen); and his close friend Louise Chandler.
