He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Cox and Peggy R. Cox (Behr); his wife Louise Cox; his grandson Tyler Cox-Roderick; and his brother Jeffrey Cox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Young of Palm Springs, CA, Cynthia Brown (Wayne) of Pueblo, CO and Maria Profit of Gulf Shores, AL; his grandchildren, Byram Brown (Xexela) of San Antonio, TX, Stephen A. Cox of Indianapolis, IN, Richard Brown of Pueblo, CO, Christopher Brown of Pueblo, CO and Taneal Bartrum of Marion, IN; his great grandchild Isaiah Estorga of San Antonio, TX; his siblings, Bonnie Daub (Ray) of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Cox (Mary) of Marion, IN, David Cox (Suzanne) of Warsaw, IN, Gary Cox of Keystone Heights, FL, Greg Cox (Wendy) of The Villages, FL and Joe Cox of Council Bluffs, ID; and his aunt Phyllis Martz (Howard) of Fairmount, IN. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
