It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sidney Alice Hester Colvin (Gulf Shores, Alabama), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall J. Hester and Mary J. Hester (Brooks); her son Tony Colvin; and her great grandchild Sam Colvin. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Colvin; her children, Tom Colvin (Kim), Terry Colvin (Sarah), Todd Colvin (Marilyn) and Claudine Colvin; and her siblings, Roger Meredith and Kay Meredith Steele. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
