It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis Anadel Levering-Wagner of Gulf Shores, Alabama, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald McDonald and Grace McDonald; and her brother Rexford McDonald. She is survived by: her children, Renee Blews (Mark), Debra Lamb Mackinaw (Grady), Gerald Cowley (Cindy Evans), Kim Cowley Foley (Lorna) and Nicholas Cowley of Peoria, IL; her sister Myrna Leddy; and her grandchildren, David Gundy, Derek Gundy, Neil Cowley, Joel Cowley, Craig Cowley, Brandi Sheffield, Jade Cummins, Clint Cowley, Travis Cowley, Brooke Blews Budd and Bradley Blews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home (2551 S McKenzie St, Foley, AL 36535). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Mom's memory donations can be made to Gulf Shores Methodist Church where it can change the world.
