In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Linda Martin leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Linda Martin may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Martin and Annie Lourie Martin; her husband Dr. Aubrey L. Sewell; her children, Lori Sewell Johnson and Aubrey "Lee" Sewell II; and her brother Royal Martin.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Anna Richardson (Matt) and Dr. John Lucien Johnson (Lauren). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel (981 AL-253, Winfield, AL 35594).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Winfield Alumni Association, Dr. Aubrey L. Sewell Scholarship fund at the Citizens Bank of Winfield.
