She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Martin and Annie Laurie Lawrence Martin; her husband Dr. Aubrey L. Sewell; her children, Lori Sewell Johnson and Aubrey "Lee" Sewell II; her brother Royal Martin; and her stepfather Robert Ira Smith (Jim Cull).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Anna Richardson (Matt) and Dr. John Lucien Johnson (Lauren); her stepsiblings, Robert "Bob" Smith (Cheryl), Jeff Smith (Mari) and Mary Lou Cull; and her sister-in-law Dianne Martin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Winfield Alumni Association, Lee and Lori Sewell Memorial Scholarship fund at the Citizens Bank of Winfield.
