She was predeceased by: her parents, Arden Kenneth McCaskey and Kathleen Louise "Billie" McCaskey; and her sister Nita (Kathy). She is survived by: her husband Thomas L. Kelly, III; her children, Thomas Scott Kelly (Andrew Sparks) of Birmingham and Margaret Ashley Kelly Morris (Jeff Nobles) of Spanish Fort; her grandchildren, Margaret "Maggie" Farrell Morris, Kathleen "Kate" Louise Morris and Hearne Crockard Kelly; her sister Anita Louise McCaskey Ruland; her nephews, Patrick Ruland (Amanda) and Ryan Ruland (Elizabeth); and her brothers-in-law, Bobby Kelly, Billy Kelly (Lura), Michael Kelly (Beverly) and Danny Kelly.
Kathy spent hours restoring family christening gowns to ensure their use for future generations and made fabric masks to donate during the global pandemic.
