He is survived by: his wife Sandi Files; his sons, Earle Files (Hollie) and John Files (Jennifer); his stepson Christopher Mathews (family: Stephen Mathews, Michael Hanbery); his grandchildren, Avery-Grace Files, Noah Files, Catherine Files and Susan Files; his stepgrandson Jake Mathews; and his niece Elizabeth Jo Files Cummings (family: William Dan "Bo" Files III, Margaret Files Morgan, Mark Larche Files). He is also survived by family, Margaret Files Morgan and family.
