It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John McCormick Jr. of Gulf Shores, Alabama, born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Macon McCormick, Sr. and Julia Burt Jones Lambert; and his brother-in-law John Rowell. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Edwards McCormick; his children, Mary Shannon Hall (Bill) and John Macon McCormick, III (Michelle); his grandchildren, Mary Cathryn Scalise, Alex Hall, Hannah Lane McCormick and Ellie Suzanne McCormick; his great grandchild Baylus Shirley; his sister Mary Elizabeth Rowell; his nephew Jay Rowell; and his nieces, Julie Lyons, Jennifer Jones and Libby Bradford.
