He was predeceased by: his parents, Jethro Markham and Etma Williams Markham; his wife Mary E. Markham; and his brothers, Bob and Joe Markham.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Baker (Chad) of Arley, AL and Crystal Bellamy of Norfolk, VA; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Haley Grace Barker of Tuscaloosa, AL and Jackson Bellamy of Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
