He was predeceased by: his parents, David Woodruff and Annie Belle Miles; and his siblings, Willie Miles, Bud Miles, Bill Miles, Estelle Barn, Linnie Bea Cagle, Jean Tucker and Betty Gail Braddy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Miles Franks (Kenny), Lisa Miles Chaffin (Jeff) and Janet Miles Lindsey (Marty); his grandchildren, Kerry Early, Andy Franks, Macie, Mackenzie Chaffin, Hunter and Sydney Lindsey; and his sister Shirley Morten. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
