He was predeceased by: his parents, Jelks Hightower and Grace Akins Hightower; and his brother Gilbert Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Emma Hightower; his children, Ben Hightower (Mary) of Fayette, AL and Amy Parker (Tracy) of Guin, AL; his sister Mildred Webb of Birmingham, AL; his grandsons, David Hightower (Brandi) of Spring Hill, TN, Brent Parker (Alanna) of Guin, AL and Mark Hightower (Bethany) of Guin, AL; and his great grandchildren, Palmer Hightower, Addie Grace, Cason, Carson Parker, Hayden and Hudson Hightower.
