He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane Powless Wates; his children, Gina Lynn Wates of Tampa, FL, Joy Amanda Wates of Guin, AL and Gregory Aaron Wates of Tuscon, AZ; and his siblings, Linda Wates Langdon, Trena Williams White, Amy Williams McDonald, Garry Wates, Warren Gene Williams and Alan Williams. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren.
