He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Franklin and Ora Mae Weaver Smith; his grandson Tanner Colby Smith; and his sister Doris Gay Smith Wilson. He is survived by: his sons, Craig Smith (Deidre) of Rosemary Beach, FL and Ken Smith (Jennifer) of Guin, AL; his grandchildren, Dylan Smith (Savannah), Brennan Smith and Savannah Diane Smith; and his siblings, Carolyn Faye Smith Reese of Fulton, MS, Linda Diane Smith Plyler of Guin, AL, Wayne Franklin Smith of Cookeville, TN and Randall Bennett Smith of Guin, AL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
