He was predeceased by: his parents, Vader Franks and Syble Markham Franks (Carolyn Martin Franks); his wife Carolyn Martin Franks; and his siblings, Ilene Franks Burleson, Sterling Franks, Bithel Franks, Tommy G. Franks, Lowell Franks and Dwyite Franks.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Morgan (Marc); his sibling Kim Glass (Jamie) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Ashley Morgan Sargent (Brad), Dustin Morgan, Wesley Glass and Will Glass; his great grandchildren, Sloane and Henry Sargent; and his sister Louise Franks Estes of Denver, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Cemetery Fund.
