He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Junior" Sanderson and Geneva Mills Sanderson; his brothers, Bobby, Danny and George Sanderson; and his nephew Hollin Sanderson.
He is survived by: his wife Veva Berryhill Sanderson; his children, Daphne Sanderson Pasley (Jordan), Emily Sanderson (Terran Lovett) and Devin Sanderson; his grandchildren, Lauren, Ezra, Eliza and Evie; his stepchildren, Harley Shaw, Alec Shaw and Gracie Mays; his sisters, Amelia Hamric (Greg) and Becky Jones; and his sister-in-law Doris Sanderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
