He is survived by: his wife June Combs; his children, Karen McCollum (James) and Bradley Combs (Robin); his siblings, Melinda Young (Roger), Tommy Combs (Carolyn) and Sammy Combs (Barbara); his grandchildren, Savannah McCollum, Austin McCollum, Kelsey Combs and Jose Ramos; and his brother Howard Gilbert.
Combs was a 3 times Bronze Star Recipient** In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kelly's Chapel Cemetery Fund Arrangements entrusted to the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel.
