He is survived by: his wife Mattie Coats Gwin of Grove Hill; his children, Dawn McNeil of Waldorf, Marsha Gwin of Helena, Geoffrey Gwin (Tiffany) of Calera and Marcus Gwin of Columbus; his grandchildren, Brittney Woods, Heather Hayes, Mia Gwin of Calera and Caleb Gwin of Helena; his great grandchildren, Khalil, Lay, Lani, Lynese and Michael; his sister Etta Ree Pendelton of Powder Springs; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Coats (Ivory) of Moss Point, Miss., Ethel Joseph of Las Vegas, Nev of Coffeeville, Elder Lucile Henry of Coffeeville, Delores Witherspoon of Coffeeville and Lucille Coats of Coffeeville. He is also survived by nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
