He is survived by: his son James Murphy; his grandchildren, Isabelle Murphy Higdon (Cody), Joey Ivey (Jade) and Michaela Ivey Brown (Tyler); his great grandchildren, A. J. Murphy, Gracelynn Higdon, Paedyn Ivey and Everlee Ivey; his sisters, Janice Muphy and Delilah May (Wade); and his family, Chris, Heidi and Avery Newton. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
