It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mauldin of Grove Hill, Alabama, born in Coffeeville, Alabama, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Mauldin and Sadie Pugh Mauldin; and his daughter Sadie Ray Jones. He is survived by: his wife Gail Mauldin; his children, Dickie Alvin Mauldin, Robbie Allen Mauldin, Marie Autry, Tammy Overstreet, Roxanne Smith (Randy) and Jamie Mauldin (Jessica); his grandchildren, Jessica Autry, Blake Autry, Earnest Gilchrist (Jeri), Cody Overstreet, Sarah Gilchrist, Hunter Goldman (Chad), Gailyn Smith, Drew Smith and Darcie Mauldin; and his great grandchildren, Josie Autry, Elen Autry, Collin Burford, Emma Nettles, Rosalie Gilchrist, Ethan Gilchrist, Caleb Gilchrist and Henry James Goldman. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
