James Goodwin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Goodwin of Grove Hill, Alabama, born in Allen, Alabama, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James and Elsie Ray Kelly Goodwin; and his sisters, Doris Crawford and Willie Kathryn Gilchrist (Patty). He is survived by: his wife Dixie Wilson Goodwin; his daughters, Tracey Walker (Nick), Tammy Brasell (Jay) and Terri Carpenter (Steve); his grandchildren, Wesley Goodwin (Jennalee), Taylor Carpenter (Brooke), Tyler Walker, Abbey Haag (Larry), Wil Brasell, Hannah Walker, Carly Carpenter and Whitney Brasell; and his great grandchildren, Emma Grace Goodwin and Allie Hope Goodwin.
