She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Morgan and Ida Mae Morgan. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Knight; her children, Patsy Hicks (Lamar) of Axis and Jimmy Knight (Brenda) of Grove Hill; her grandson Rex Knight (Rachael); her great grandchildren, Lauren Knight of Chance, Libby Knight of Chance and Jon Knight of Chance; and her siblings, Betty M. Howell of Jackson, Shirley Hickman (Frank) of Grove Hill and L. J. Wilson of Grove Hill. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
