Catherine Gaddy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Gaddy of Grove Hill, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Catherine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Squires and Winnie Bell Smith; her grandmother Nellie Gray (Nay); and her son Michael Edward Kelley. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd A. Gaddy.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lathan Funeral Home (20334 US-43, Grove Hill, AL 36451). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Magnolia Lawn Cemetery (20334 US-43, Grove Hill, AL 36451).
