He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Napoleon and Mary Magdalene Pope Stabler; his siblings, William Stabler, Pauline Pope and Claire Williams; his former wife Mary Frances Gordon Stabler; and also Douglas Stabler.
He is survived by: his daughter Darla Stabler Rogers (Anthony); his grandchildren, Braxton, Gavin and Grayson; his son Stephen Stabler (Deborah); his granddaughter Della Killingsworth (Joel); his children, Angie, Derek and Ed Starkie (Patricia); his grandchildren, Ben, Hunter and Summer; his son Robert Starkie (late Vickie); his granddaughters, Mollie and Jenny; his daughter Sandra Barnhart; his grandchildren, Michele and Jennifer; and also, Peggy, Allen, Ember and Oren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
