He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sullivan Monk; and his children, Mark Monk (Mary), Marlin Monk, Marla Monk Benefield (Jim) and Marva Monk. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
