He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Dudley Hartley and Harper Gantt Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Marion Parsons Hartley; his sons, Richie (Rita Pitts) and Nicholas; his grandchildren, Paul, Stephen, Emily, Caroline, Alie, Haylee and Ivey; and his sister Dr. Joy Hartley Russell (Mack) of Dauphin Island. He is also survived by two nieces, three nephews; one great niece, and two great nephews.
