She was predeceased by: her parents, George Greene and Roxie Mathis Green; and her granddaughter Ellison Anne Samples. She is survived by: her children, Robert D. Yon of Columbia, George E. Yon (Kellie) of Greencastle, IN and Patricia Yon of Clinton; her brother Terry Green (Elizabeth) of Newberry; her grandchildren, Marcus Samples, Joseph Samples, Zane Yon, Chris Yon and Kaylin Yon; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Samples and Mabree Handerson.
