She was predeceased by: her husband Elton Jones; her parents, W. M. Wood and Nell Wood; and her sister Miriam Haywood (James). She is survived by: her children, Luinda Jones Corley (Daryl) and David Jones (Pattie); her grandsons, Nathaniel Kooker (Zandalee), William Jones, Christopher Jones and Kasey Corley (Jamison); and her great grandchild Jenison Elam. She is also survived by three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Greenville, Al or Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Al.
