He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Johnson and Mildred Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his sons, Russell (Amanda) and Jeremy (Tracy); his grandchildren, Alexander, Ally, Alyssa, Austin, Brianna, Gavin and Hayden; his great grandchild Nevaeh; and his siblings, Claude, David, Robert (Peggy), Walter (Debbie) and Lynell (Robert).
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church of Greenville, AL (211 King St, Greenville, AL 36037).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked instead that donations be made to the Shepherd's Table (Southside Baptist Church) in Ricky's memory.
