She was predeceased by: her husband James Earl Quates; her mothers, Addie Lee and Lucy Strickland Bender; and her siblings, Edward Lee Bender Ellis, Roy Bender and Elizabeth Parsons.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Luckie, Ricky Quates, David Quates and Jimmy Quates (Pennie); her brother Doyle Bender; and her sisters-in-law, Joann Bender and Carol Quates. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
