She was predeceased by: her parents, Hub Simmons and Evenia Simmons; her husband Robert Savell; and her son Terry Alton Pope. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Marshall (Steve); her daughter-in-law Jollyn Pope; her grandchildren, Dr. Keri Stanley (Chase), Jason Pope (Lindsey), Brandon Pope (Alysia), John Millan Gaston, Benen Gaston and Faith Marshall; her great grandchildren, Abby Pope, Sara Pope, Olivia Pope, Sophia Stanley, Jack Stanley and Fisher Stanley; and her sister Evelyn Davis.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Safe Harbor, The Butler County Children's Advocacy Center, P.O. Box 1020, Greenville, Al, 36037.
