He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Holder and Hazel Holder; his brothers, Earl Holder and Phillip Holder; and his grandparents, Katie "Kinky" Lucretia Whitman and Lonnie Buward Whitman.

He is survived by: his children, Eric "Bobo" Holder (Amanda), Catherine "Cathy" Killebrew (Chris) and Michael "Pickle" Rodgers; his grandchildren, Berit, Sarah Kellebrew, Kristin Edwards, Hannah Holder, Kaidyn Holder and Allyson Holder; his great grandchild Kenadie Mount; and his siblings, Eddie Holder (Edna), Keith Holder (Catherine), Rhea Holder, Rebecca Berringer (Bill), Gloria Smith, Mary Jo Holder and Donna Waller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
