She was predeceased by: her parents, Ziba Anderson and Mary Frances Anderson; and her son Gregory Lewis Oakley, III. She is survived by: her husband David Pearson; her daughter Kendall Pearson Howard; her grandchildren, Abigail Howard, Olivia Oakley, Travis Tuberville, Joshua Smith and Gregory Oakley IV; and her siblings, Elaine Lenga, Charlene Hines, Margaret Brown and Ziba McGowin Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
