She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill Brown; her parents, Oscar Lee Sloan and Ada Sloan Griffin; her brothers, Howard, Fred and Jimmy Sloan; her grandmother McQuirter; her daughter Billie Gwen Myers (Jerry); her granddaughter Kelli Smith (Ken); and her great grandchildren, Anne, Kathryn and Lily Smith. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
