He was predeceased by: his wife Mae Stinson Brown; his parents, Bill Brown and Evella Brown; and his siblings, Mose Hilary Brown, James Bernard Brown, Mary Brown and Betty Jordan.
He is survived by: his son Johnny Mack Brown; and his siblings, Mack Brown (Clemie), Ann Crews (Terry) and Judy Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
