He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Aubrey and Margie Alice Newton; his sisters, Patricia Gaddy and Janice Fernandes; and his son Ronald.

He is survived by: his wife Teresita (Tess); his sons, Marvin Allen Newton (Tara) and Donnie Newton; and his brother Gary Newton (Margie). He is also survived by six granddaugthers, one grandson, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
