We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2024, at the age of 88, Joe Lawrence Small (Greenville, Alabama), born in Selma, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dennis and Annie Laurie Small; and his siblings, William Dennis Small, Jr., Derrell Small, Monte Small, Ladean Small, Dannie Hean and Jane Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Susie; his children, Joe Lawrence Small, Jr. (Patricia), Susie Carolyn Harrell (David) and Michael Henderson Small (late Michelle); and his grandchildren, David Merle Harrell, Cody Harrell (Sarah Anna), Joanna Small Robertson (Michael), Josh Payne (Beth) and Denise Van Cor (Jameson). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, along with a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives and friends.
