With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean L. Dean (Greenville, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Lynn Dean of Georgiana, Alabama.; her parents, Cecil Spann and Lois Phillips Spann; and her siblings, Linda Salter, Wayne Spann and Louis Spann.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Dean (Christie Dean), Ronald Dean Jr. (Misty Dean) and Tammi Turner (Mitchell Turner); her grandchildren, Mathew Baltzell (Arden), Bailey Dollar (Stephen), Mackenzie Dean, Peyton Dean (Haleigh), Kaydra Walker (Brandon), Brandon Strength (Amy), Daniel Bush (Abbi), Alyssa Peacock (Dillion), Emma Claire Strength, Rileigh Turner, Thomas Turner and Joseph Turner; her great grandchildren, Cambrie Baltzell, Andrew Baltzell, Shiloh Baltzell, Theo Bailey, Knoxx Smith, Ava Bush, Russel Bush, Asher Walker and Wyatt Peacock; and her sister Earnestine Mclellan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law's, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dunklin Funeral Home (812 W Commerce St, Greenville, AL 36037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Uniion Cemetery.
