He is survived by: his wife Leta Payne Heartsill of Fort Deposit; his brother Darrell Heartsill (Cathy); his nieces, Emily Heartsill Mendenhall (Allen) and Jenna Heartsill Jones (Justin); and his nephew Matthew Heartsill.
