He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Lucille Reed Earnest; his son Michael Lynn Earnest; and his parents, James Lee and Daisy Lucille Kilgore Earnest. He is survived by: his son Jimmie Ray Earnest (Becky); his grandchildren, Anthony, Caleb, Christian and Asher; his great grandchildren, Levi, Abel, Bindi, Eretria and Torrin; his daughter-in-law Kim Earnest; and his brother-in-law Robert Reed. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Antioch East Baptist Church (2303 Old Stage Rd, Greenville, AL 36037). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
