It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Hancock (Greenville, Alabama), born in Reform, Alabama, who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Cornelius and Lovie Malone; her husband Dr. Charles "Charlie" Sanders Hancock; and her sisters, Boots Evans and Jane Malone Wimberly.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles "Bunky" Gunter Hancock (Sharon) of Spanish Fort, Phillip Ranson Hancock (Jean) and David Sanders Hancock (Leshia) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Anne Taber Hancock Fava (Laura Elizabeth Hancock) of Annapolis, MD, Jennifer Hancock Porter (Justin) of Dothan, Charles Phillip Hancock (Brady Hancock Burge) of Atlanta, GA and Maryanne Hancock Burdg (Sanders Daniel Hancock) of Tuscaloosa; and her great grandchildren, Charles Hastings Fava, Katharine Taber Fava of Annapolis, MD, John Robert Porter, Julie Marie Porter of Dothan, Emma Burge, Charles Fendley Burge of Mobile and Daniel Rhett Hancock of Prattville.

A memorial for family and friends will be scheduled at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial gifts be directed to the one's favorite veteran charity.
