With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane J. Williams in Greenville, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, J. W. and Bessie Suitte; and his parents, Glenn J. Williams and Mary Jo Williams. He is survived by: his wife Edith Ryan Williams; his children, Mark Williams (Sandy), Kelly Abry (Glenn) and Shannon Garrison (Greg); his stepchildren, Michael Waite and Caroline Waite; and his grandchildren, Elise Garrison, Julia Garrison, Hunter Abry, Rhiannon Abry and Cameron Waite.
Flowers or plants are welcomed, but Dr. Williams asked that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
