He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo Boswell and Willie Elsie Boswell; and his brothers, Willie F. Boswell and James R. Boswell. He is survived by: his wife Jane Boswell; his son Douglas Boswell Jr. (Alissa); his stepson Justin Owens; his sister Barbara Layton (Robert); and his grandsons, Tyler R. Owens and Hunter Kelly Boswell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
