He is survived by: his wife Lovella Mitchell Scott of Greenville, Ala; his daughter Kristi Williams (Andy) of Luverne, Ala; his sisters, Jeanette Holcombe (Lewis), Mary Mitchell (Harold) and Eunice Scroggins; his brother-in-law Wilford Mitchell (Lynn); his grandchildren, Shelby Posey, Andrew Williams, Austin Williams and Hayden Mayes; and his great grandchildren, Fisher Posey and Clara Hazel Posey.
